While most of the technical specs are still rumor mill material, the renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 5G reveal a few key design elements, starting with an Infinity-U display and a side-mounted fingerprint reader, all the way down to the 3.5 mm audio and USB-C ports located at the bottom.
Before the end of 2021, 5G connectivity should finally find its way to the lower-end area of the market. Next year, Samsung is expected to come up with a lineup that offers both high-end and mid-range 5G handsets and the Galaxy A52 is such a device that will probably launch alongside the LTE-only Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02s, both rumored to arrive in the first quarter.
The Samsung Galaxy A52 is rumored to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset and to feature quad cameras. For now, it looks like this will be Samsung’s most affordable 5G handset to arrive in 2021 (or at least in the first part of the year). The key elements that can be noticed in the Galaxy A52 renders are the following:
- Main camera assembly with three image sensors and two LED flash units.
- Infinity-U display.
- Side-mounted fingerprint scanner and volume rocker.
- Speaker grill, USB-C port and a classic 3.5 mm audio port, all at the bottom.
Sadly, there is no rumor regarding the price of this upcoming handset, but is expected to be cheaper than the recently unveiled Galaxy A42 5G. We will keep an eye on the Galaxy A52 5G and we’ll get back to it as soon as we will see new details showing up, so stay tuned.
