Black Friday
2020 live blog has come to a close. For more holiday savings, be sure to check out our Cyber Monday 2020 coverage.
Finding the best Black Friday deals isn’t always as simple as it seems. With every major retailer running their own version of the massive sale, figuring out what’s available and whether it’s a good deal or not can turn into more of a chore than it needs to.
But we’re here to help. Throughout the day, we’ll be updating this page with the best Black Friday discounts and lightning deals so you don’t have to wade through 200 pages of sales to find the true hidden gems.
Keep in mind that many of the deals available throughout Black Friday only run for a few hours (or in limited quantities). Take Amazon’s aptly named Lightning Deals, for instance. These are intentionally active for a short period of time with a set number of the product available for purchase — once the timer gets to zero, or the deal reaches 100% claimed, the discount ends.
Though retailers may release more stock throughout the day — we saw it happen with our favorite pillow, the Coop Original, during Amazon Prime Day in October — it’s still smart to jump on deals when you see them (and you’ll find them all right here).
Our list is sorted by the newest deal first, and we’ll be updating it multiple times every hour. Check back frequently for the freshest Black Friday deals across all retailers like Best Buy, Amazon, Target, Walmart, and others.

Apple AirPods with Wireless Charging Case
Apple
Apple’s AirPods with wireless charging case have a clever design that makes them very comfortable, and the pleasant sound quality will surprise many. However, they don’t isolate the wearer from the outside world. The current $150 sale price is pretty good, but the lowest price we’ve seen so far is $140.
Apple iPhone 12 Mini
Business Insider/Lisa Eadicicco
The iPhone Mini has a smaller 5.4-inch OLED screen, and it’s otherwise identical to the iPhone 12, including the same powerful A14 processor. It’s one of the more affordable iPhone models you can buy at the moment. Walmart is offering it for both AT&T and Verizon users for $579 with monthly payments, down from $699.
Smith I/O MAG ChromaPop Goggles
Smith
This deal has ended. We’ll update this post if it comes back.
The I/O Mag ChromaPop goggles from Smith are some of the best we’ve worn on the mountain and feature lenses that boost clarity and contrast, are easily swappable, and have a hydrophobic coating that avoids moisture and fog build-up. During Black Friday, they’re more than $100 off at EVO.com, and just in time for the winter season in the northern hemi.

Nintendo Switch Super Mario 3D All-Stars
Amazon
This game collects three classic Mario titles: “Super Mario 64,” “Super Mario Sunshine,” and “Super Mario Galaxy.” The $10 discount may not seem like a lot, but it has a limited run and will no longer be available for purchase after March 31, 2021. Expect it to become a popular collector’s item for Nintendo fans in the future.
