Joe Biden was named the 46th president of the United States on Saturday, November 7. While the official election results have yet to be certified, he and VP-Elect Kamala Harris spoke to the nation, accepted congratulations from world leaders, and started their transition to the White House—while many across the country danced in the streets and celebrated.
Donald Trump, however, has yet to concede the election and is still attempting to pursue legal efforts to try to change the results (many of his tweets are being flagged for containing misleading or false information about the election and its results).
‘We Just Did’ Joe Biden Baseball Cap
It’s not surprising after all these years to watch Trump get agitated on social media. It’s basically a daily occurrence at this point, but now social media users think Biden himself is getting in on the trolling.
Future FLOTUS Dr. Jill Biden posted a photo on Instagram and Twitter this weekend of herself and her husband holding a sign that read “Dr. and President Biden Live Here.” In the image, Joe is wearing a navy blue hat that says “We Just Did” and the number “46,” signifying his role as the 46th POTUS:
Some think this is a direct response to Trump’s “Make America Great Again” caps. A Twitter user inserted the photo into the “How It Started/How It’s Going” meme while another wrote, “Not really one for political headwear, but the we just did hat goes kinda hard.”
“Can the Biden store release the ‘we just did’ hats pls?” another wrote.
Whether or not Joe Biden is actually trolling Donald Trump remains to be seen. In his speech on November 7, he said, “I am humbled by the trust and confidence you have placed in me. I pledge to be a resident who seeks not to divide, but to unify. Who doesn’t see red and blue states, but a United States. And who will work with all my heart to win the confidence of the whole people.”
